Birthday Reminders

I've about had it.

I'm not trying to be rude, but saying "Happy Birthday" to someone on a yahoo group with 200 members drives me up the wall.

I mean, seriously. It totally clogs my email when I get 50 "Happy Birthday Susan" and another 100 "Me too"s in a half an hour! Then what happens? Tomorrow is someone else's birthday!

Ugh. I won't share my birthday with the groups cause I hate deleting (or worse yet, responding!) to all those junk posts!

Ok. Rant done. Until tomorrow.....

I'm ok with happy birthdays on message boards...but I agree on yahoo groups...umm no thanks.

I belong to a few groups. I get them all digest version. This allows me to just pass by those messages that I don't want to read. It also gives me only one email from the group instead of 25.

I'd do an email filter that sent anything from the yahoo group that contained the word birthday into the junkmail :)

That's exactly why I stay aaway from yahoo groups. they 1 group i do belong to has about 10 members & i have it on daily digest.
