I had to share the funny thing my 8 year old son said yesterday morning.
First, I should start by saying we live in South Florida. Its been 80 degrees here all month, but yesterday it got "cold", you know, down to 55. So my husband got up in the middle of the night and turned on the heater.
This is the first time in this place we have ever used the heater. Its rare that it goes on, even in winter.
So my son is getting dressed in the morning, and he comes into my bedroom, and says to me, deadpan, "Mom, we have a serious situation. There is hot air coming out of the floor."
(I think he thought the house was on fire.)
I'm like, "William, its just the heater!"
Immediately he relaxed and said, "Oh, so that's what those vents are for!"
