We are in need of a part-time (telecommuting from home) accounting assistant to use accounting software (such as Quicken or similar) to help keep track of revenue, expenses, payroll, etc. You may also be required to perform other office-related tasks such as faxing, organizing, and entering data, as needed.
Both new accounting grads with a good understanding of accounting and some accounting software experience as well as experienced accountants will be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You must live in or near west Houston/Katy
- At least 2 years of college education and 2 years of accounting experience
OR a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 6 months accounting experience
- Must be comfortable working with and helping setup accounting process
- Must have high-speed internet connection
- Must have a fax machine
- No criminal history, no drugs, non-smoker (Very thorough background check required)
- Able to work with little to no supervision
- Detail-oriented but can still get things done timely
- Home environment suitable for work (free of distractions, clutter, other obligations, etc.)
