At Home Customer Care Agents

Customer Care Remote At Home Agents
This is a Customer Service position with Inbound calls only. Agents work from the call center during training for three months and then work from home answering inbound calls from customers assisting with travel questions.
Responsibilities:
Using a computerized system, responds to customer inquiries in an at home setting.
May perform one or more of the following:
Responds to telephone inquiries and complaints using standard scripts and procedures.
Gathers information, researches/resolves inquiries and logs customer calls.
Communicates appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner.
Informs customers about services available and assesses customer needs.
Provides functional guidance, training and assistance to lower level staff.
Provides assistance, training and troubleshooting support to lower level staff.
Schedules work to ensures accurate phone coverage; monitors priority of calls and shifts escalated calls to assure resolution to problems.
Prepares standard reports to track workload, response time and quality of input.
Assists in planning and implementing department goals and makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to train Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
30 days classroom training and 60 days on site application training before releasing to work from home.
Able to provide own high speed DSL or broadband internet connection and a LAN phone -line
Possess advanced internet skills
One year of previous call center experience
Able to type 20 words per minute
Exceptional written, verbal, e-mail and problem solving skills
Able to work independently
One year of higher education
START: 1/7/08
TRAINING: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
30 days of classroom training and 60 days on site application training
SHIFTS: Varied day hours, Monday through Friday
