Seasonal Tax Preparer, TurboTax Personal Pro
Intuit’s Consumer Tax division is seeking seasonal tax preparers to join our Personal Pro Team. As a Personal Pro, you’ll help customers through the tax filing process via phone and online meetings, all from the convenience of your home! You’ll have the support of in-depth training, subject matter experts, and coaches at your fingertips, enabling you to provide “WOW” customer experiences with a personal touch. Positions start December 17th.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support and guide TurboTax Personal Pro customers through the tax filing process
- Conduct information gathering phone meetings with Personal Pro customers
- Provide guidance during the online interview process via phone and chat
- Prepare and file tax returns
Skills Needed:
- The ability to research the IRS code and publications, regulations, and GAAP publications
- Effective collaboration with peers and team leaders in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to continuously incorporate and share new learning
- Strong written communication
- Experience operating in Windows 98 or newer environment
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in personal tax preparation, federal (1040) and state returns
- In-depth understanding of tax concepts and processes, including electronic filing
- Knowledge of federal and GAAP depreciation rules
- Enrolled agent, CPA, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting a big plus
