Hi everyone,

A while back I gave up and finally got a myspace page. I know, I thought just the kiddos hung out there, but I was seriously wrong.

I filled in my page, put ads up for my business and added lots of friends, and nothing happened.

I pretty much wrote off myspace as a dud when it came to marketing. I went to a conference call last week where they provided a really specific way to write up your myspace page. I took notes and revised my page the next day. That was Thursday of last week.

Over the weekend I received 15 messages, I had 1 person call my house about the business. I had two amazing conversations via messaging. Booked two new coaching clients and 1 person came into 2 of my businesses.

How's that for a weekend. My results are continuing this upward momentum. It's really exciting to see so much movement in my business and from a FREE source.

Here's a blog post (http://internetmarketingtipsandtricks.wordpress.com/2007/11/15/how-my-story-marketing-can-help-you-build-your-internet-marketing-business/) I wrote after the conference call. I really recommend putting together a myspace page and see how it works for you. All it's gonna cost you is time, and it might pay off big. :)

Many Blessings,

Jackie Lee :)

Doug,

There are many businesses who are advertising on MySpace and doing very well with it. But, it isn't for everyone.

You might check out the ning network. You can find just about any kind of social setting there. There are several for businesses, entrepreneurs, publishers, etc. I would suggest you join a network that reaches your target market rather than one of your peers. So, if you're marketing to at home moms, you'll want to join a network where they hang out.

Just my two cents.

One of these days, I will actually take the time to get set up on my space...LOL

Doug,

I've found just the opposite to be true. The teens seem to be leaving MySpace, going to Facebook.

I find both customers and new consultants on MySpace, all adults.

I too took your advice and redid my page! I have already gotten some leads from there! That is great advice you gave! Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the post!

I am in the process of redoing my page because of it. My son is home sick with me today and we had fun putting the slide show together. (he chose the music and the way the photos were displayed)

I also wrote a review of your page for Stumble Upon. You should see your traffic spike today.

I agree. I did the same with my business on MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/hobbswealth) and working on a facebook profile.

Website like these are great because they offer FREE marketing and get high results. I've had amazing results from my page!

Good luck!
