We seek a talented and enthusiastic copywriter to work for us on at least one ebook project. The subject is related to internet marketing, so having some writing experience for the web is a definite plus.
Some attributes our potential copywriter would have:
- You are a quick study and are comfortable working on a new subject.
- You are not frustrated or intimidate if exposed to unstructred and new information. In fact, you methodically dissect the discussion at hand, think it over and develop a writing plan.
- You are genuinely interested and enthusiastic about the subject (after you have spoken to us and accepted the project).
- You would be available for conference calls during the evenings.
- You would be comfortable working on online collaboration tools such as basecamphq.com
- You would be able to meet in person, on the weekends, near Reston area.
- You would have to sign a non-compete, non-disclosure agreement (we are bit paranoid about people stealing our ideas!).
- You are meticulous and detail-oriented. In fact, we bet you have already identified some typos on this gig-description.
- You are comfortable writing in various styles, from sales-copy to business-like, to fun, young and hip.
- You can be a seasoned, experienced writer, or a fresh-college graduate with the world ahead of you!
- You may have to read and research some material. Although we expect to pair you with a researcher.
- You can comfortable working under a (potentially) younger, offsite (but a nice!) manager. You are comfortable putting deadlines to deliverables and discussing progress in one on one meetings.
- You are not offended or take things personally if given a constructive criticism on initial passes.
After this project, you can be available to us, on-demand, on additional writing projects.
