DESC OF PROJECT:
LoveInsure™ is a breakthrough web application that provides couples with an “ongoing interactive relationship-management” tool or service, designed to enable both partners to optimize their satisfaction with each other. Love-Insure draws on the latest most definitive research on long lasting happy marriages/committed relationships, and on the best practices for saving marriages/committed relationships on the verge of divorce. As such, it is intended to be the most ongoing, accessible, procrastination-proof, individually tailored, and therefore, effective tool for enriching, strengthening, and thereby divorce and affair-proofing committed relationships today. (We are gay-friendly)
WHERE OUR PROFITS WILL GO: And all of Love-Insure™’s post-tax profits will go to progressive and urgent causes (organizations working to stop global warming, increase civIC, help the homeless, etc.).
THE MARKET: Its market is the 35-40% of couples unhappy with their marriage, newly weds, those starting a relationship (e.g. through internet dating, plus all those in pre-marital training classes. It can sell as a $10-20/mo subscription fee and/or be distributed as perk to anyone joining/donating to any organization who is in or hopes to be in a committed relationship.
CURRENT SITUATION The basic web-ap has already been developed by our web developer (coder.) NOTE: We start our first beta test on at least 100 couples approx Nov 18th or so!! and expect to have to make 20-30hrs of revisions before then, and at least 100 hrs from then to mid December
REQUIREMENTS and to APPLY
1) Highly competent with HTML, fast, and proof you have access to pics of couples (mostly faces OK) a'la what you see on say marsandvenus.com or other relationship sites, that can be used 2) examples of well designed, creative, sites
(Coding has already been done, but might need you to revise stuff occasionally)
3) able to start Right away and work fulltime just on our project
4) easy to work with (willing to take calls often in case i am not near a computer)
5) strong desire to help keep committed relationship together, ,happy, vibrant and strong, prevent needless affairs or divorces
6) strong graphic abilities (e.g illustrator, or whatever)
DUTIES:
Significantly improve look and feel of site by addition of photos, colored graphic(s), humorous illustrations, improvement on background, font, borders, create a compelling home page,researching best of what's out there, improvement in alignment and look of type, background, and whatever other creative ideas you can come up with. > change text as feedback comes in We hope we already have the navigation down though may need to add one or two elements.
PREFERABLE THOUGH NOT REQUIRED: addition of other features as feedback from the 100 couples comes in (The design engineer has gotten ill, plus has a full time job, but should be reachable at nites for consulting)
COMPENSATION:
$300-500 for work needed before launch and for first week after launch up to Dec 2nd or so, (approx 50 hrs), the range depending on if you also have engineering skills and can make code changes as well
plus $300-500 more as need changes are made based on feedback by Dec 15th plus $1000 back pay for this (contract) plus commitment of additional $2000/mo, assuming 60 hours per month, contingent on sales or Angel funding (whichever is first), but expected before end of year. The second $1000 will be paid as soon as at least $2500 is raised in
Contract will provide another $1000-2000 contingent on funding for this work . after we have raised at least the first $70k.
