Ads, Ads, Ads

There are a few folks out there who in the last few weeks have joined every board I belong to and have posted nothing but ads.

I just don't understand how folks think this works. They will be out of business in under 90 days, but for those 90 days I'm seeing one or two ads every single day on a dozen different boards.

People just don't get it. Message forums are for gathering useful business resources and networking with others.

Members of a community will get a lot more people interested in what they have to offer by making quality contributions...not by spamming the boards with just ads. It's a well-known fact. A lot of people don't really read the ads section anyway, they just skim over them.

Bottom line, chances are...the spammer ads won't even result with a click . ;)

I never understood it myself. Maybe one day they will realize how to use a forum properly and how it can benefit them rather than harm them. There are so many things to learn in a forum -- a wealth of information that can really help them in their business. Oh well for these people...
