Dry Cleaning and Ironing...
Okay, this one isn't for me. I'm offering it as a sideline idea to the FLM public. We all do it anyhow, why not make it into a business?
I once knew a woman who lived in the suburbs. She somehow set up arrangements with a few businesses downtown. She offered to take their suits and personal clothing to have them dry cleaned, washed, starched, ironed, whatever.
Long story short, the way she handled it is she just turned them over to a dry cleaning business a half mile down the street. She then picked them up and brought them back to the various companies for a slight profit on each item of clothing. Essentially, she made money on pick up and delivery - as a sort of middle-person.
I also knew another woman who did this but she actually took all of the clothing home and washed, ironed, starched, pressed, and dry cleaned all of the items of clothing herself for a bigger profit than the first woman.
I know that to many of you, this sort of work is already a bummer. I understand. But, there are some of you that may consider this or something similar in concept..."middle-person"...what might we do with a thought like that?
