Where does your inspiration for writing come? Mine mostly comes from the pile of bills the mailmain likes to bring all the time!
Well, seriously, I have a lot of topics assigned to me. My husband is a fountain of ideas. Thank goodness, because I always have the words but not always the ideas!
I also get lots of newsletters and I skim through regional mags for ideas, too. I once found one in an advertisement for the children's hospital.
Here's to a free flow of ideas and happy posting while you're brain churns!
ROFL - you are so funny Michelle! I wish that I could write on demand. The only time that I really write is when I have quiet, which is pretty much never...
But I do get ideas from current news via google news when I'm deciding what to blog or write in a newsletter.
The real creative stuff though... I really miss that flowing.

Besides my wife and the Web, writing is my 'other love'. I planned on Minoring in English at Rutgers, but when push came to shove I wasn't going to have the credits for the minor.
My wife Carolyn was an English major at Boston University and she is one of my biggest inspirations to write. I don't do freelance writing simply because it falls outside of where my business is going, but I still love it. Through the years my outlets have been copy writing, short fiction, and a non fiction book I have been working on (for too long..). Carolyn has been a fountain of encouragement and a good 'sounding board'.

I love writing. This sounds silly I know, but things usually just come to me, and then I'll start playing with them in my head, and if I'm really smart, I'll put them down on paper before I forget. Otherwise, I'm left feeling like I forgot something really good ...

If I think of something clever I have to write it down right then, too, Debbie, or the thought is lost! I have gotten up out of bed and wrote a whole feature because I thought of a witty way to start it off!
Justin, you should write more! In addition to being a web guru, you are a talented writer!

Thank you, Michelle. That means a lot coming from a pro!
I need to find a way to block more time for writing. I have a list of projects I'd like to work on that's as long as my arm but there just never seems to be enough time!

Ain't it the truth! I have a bunch of stuff that I've been working on this week but they're all assignments. Tthat's just about all I do — that way I KNOW I'll get paid for it!! Haha. I have some stuff I want to do just for me but there's that pesky time factor. I can barely get my assignments in sometimes!

I adore writing, mainly short stories and novellas. I always find participating in Nanowrimo (http://nanowrimo.org) one of the best ways to kick-start myself. In fact, I'm participating this year also.

I also like writing fiction. I have written mostly short stories but I even wrote a novel when I was in college. It underwent about 5 major changes during the process and was never anywhere near publishable, but it was fun getting it done.
