How to starte writing articles??

I like to start writing articles, short stories, etc, but have no idea where to start. Any advice? I'm looking for a way to earn money online. I was an quite good when I was in college, so have experience writing and researching. Any advice would be quite helpful...

Wow, I hope this goes well for you. I'd kind of like to know the answer myself. Lori probably has a great list of sites that post writing jobs here on her site somewhere. There are some writing sites that post jobs in my list of writing resources (www.geocities.com/smbwallace2003/links.html) on my writing website (www.geocities.com/smbwallace2003/arkansasprofiles.html).

I've not done any online writing because what I've run into seems to pay very very low. I write for the print market and have found some really good work that way. I am willing to share what I did to find those first few jobs. After that, the jobs found me.
