SOHO Promotion

I want to be a professional after my business leave soon. I really felt tired of doing same thing and staying in the inanimate office. I want to do SOHO. I've built a new website of my business line. My friends told me the important thing is waiting. Waiting for inquiries and orders. But I think promotion is the best important. Does anyone have good ideas or experiences? Please share with me.
