VA Certification

I'm doing research about the VA industry and I've noticed a lot of places offering certifications, training, classes etc. For those of you who have started your VA practice, did you complete a VA course/training? If so, did you find the training helpful?

I think you will find about a 50/50 split on this issue.

I didn't do it and my business is doing well. I chose to use the money instead to take certain classes through my community college (online) that I felt would be more beneficial.

I know others who say that it was one of the best things they did because they would have missed important steps in building their business without the training.

I do believe that any new learning opportunities are good but I guess it depends on how much you already know and what you feel you need to know.
