Wasn't sure where to ask

Hello moms,

I have a question and wasn't sure were to ask it, so I'll try you guys. I sell all natural candles and I was thinking about incorporating baby diaper cakes with them. I've done a diaper cake for my niece and it turned out so cute! Everybody loved it. Now we offer a baby powder scent and I was going to incorporate that into the middle of the cake. My question is, do you know of a good site or place where I can get GOOD diapers for a good price? I want to buy in bulk so I don't have to keep going out to buy them. Plus, when I did my nieces cake, it became very pricey.:eek: So, if anybody can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. And tell me what you think of this idea.(I work full time as a cake decorator, so I thought this mught be something fun and different and something I know a little bit about.):thumb:

It sounds like a cute idea.

As for buying the diapers, If you have a tax id number, which I am sure you do for you business, try call the companies; Huggies, Pampers, etc. and tell them you are a business owner & what you are doing, see if they will work something out with you where you can buy them in bulk directly from them. Most large comapnies will do this for small business owners.

Diaper cakes are indeed really cute. I've seen some that are just gorgous. I have older kids so have not done the diaper thing in years. I'm no help on where to find diapers inexpensively. I would definately be on the lookout for diaper coupons whenever they come out.

My first instinct would be to check out ebay. Also - do a search on diaper cakes and contact the business owners. Ask them what they do. Some may not answer you if they are too serious about competition :) But there has to be some who would be willing to offer advice.

I had a friend that used to be in this business...long time ago. She did very well with it. One thing about it, there will always be someone looking for that special baby shower gift. And let's face it, diapers will always be in big demand...so you can't go wrong with this busienss. :)

Like Lori suggested, eBay would probably be a good start...can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
