Hi guys, I am a newbie to this forum which I found whilst searching for something entirely different on the internet!
I liked the feel of the board and I enjoyed the "thinking" of the members. However I cannot, at my age, class myself as a WAHM. I can class myself as a "mum" and I can class myself as "working from home" but my children are grown!!
Am I going to be jettisoned from the forum?:(

Hi Peggy! I'm so glad that you want to be a part of the forum. We have plenty of Moms here who's kids are grown - Dads too. We also have lots of entrepreneurs who don't have children.

Please don't feel out of place - we're happy to have you!

Lori

Maybe the name of the forum has misled her. But i guess the people in the forum, welcome anyone who's an entrepreneur.

Hi Peggy, it's great you joined here! Us WAHMs with young kids have a lot to learn from the WAHMs with older/grown kids, the WAHGMs (work at home grandmas), the WAHDs, the childless WAH people, and all the other people who just want to be here!

Hi Peggy, Welcome

I fall into the "entrepreneurs without children" category.

Sounds like you have experience to share with moms. My mom has passed away and I could always use someone with experience - just to give me some ideas!! Things haven't changed that much.

I have a 14 & 12 year old, quite the trying time I must say!!! :D

Hi Peggy,
I too am new to the forum. In fact, your my first reply. Fraud you are not. From what I've seen browsing this site is that these are some very compassionate, business oriented women, really cool and down to earth with wonderful ideas and opportunities waiting to be shared. I think we have found a good place to be.

Welcome to the Forum Peggy. I don't think you are a fraud at all. As stated by others, it doesn't matter if your 20 or 60. You'll have more experience that I would at only 22. I have a 4-yr old step daughter, which is nothing compared to having full grown daughters. Hope you can find what your looking for on here. Its a great site.
