The role of Arise contract instructor includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Setting expectations.
- Explaining the course's goals.
- Instruct, coach and prepare learners to demonstrate the necessary voice and data entry skills to be certified by the clients using a variety of teaching methods including lecturing, active learning activities, reviewing assignments, etc.
- Retaining qualified learners, motivating them to overcome obstacles, persevere and exceed course performance expectations.
- Tracking and reporting trainee progress using virtual classroom observation, Arise U viewed-page counts and quiz scores.
- Notifying the Instructor and Implementation Leads of problems that may have an impact in the outcome of trainee certification.
- Responding to Arise and trainee e-mails quickly as well as following established protocol to communicate with client contacts.
- Contacting learners by phone when necessary.
Arise will consider an application for a trainer who meets the following requirements:
- Being prompt - Holds a bachelors degree or has been certified to instruct adult learners, and has a minimum of 5 years training experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent.
- Has 2 years of call center or call taking experience and or experience training sales skills and benefit positioning to learners experience training retail, technical support, help desk support, or customer service agents.
- Has experience delivering instructor led training in traditional classroom and eLearning formats using, Centra, WebEX, Live Meeting or similar.
- Can demonstrate adult learning principles and techniques both through a personal interview and a 20-minute “demonstration of skills.”
- Is Centra certified or able to attain certification prior to first eLearning assignment.
- Is able able to travel nationally to participate in TTT or deliver training.
- Is able to deliver online training from own office (home office).
