Hello ~

I'm new to this board - and am so excited to be here...

I have just published a new 2005 Holiday Toy Selling Guide for ebay sellers... and am trying to figure out how to get the big guys interested in it! I published it last year (it was a last minute idea, however, and I only had a couple weeks of good sales before Christmas)... and have now had a full year to perfect it! :)

Anyhow - any thoughts and suggestions would be great!

Here is what I have done so far to try to get their attention...

- I have a website set up: www.mytoyguide.com with the sales pitch (anyone want to critique it for me? One of Terry Dean's content writers helped me with it)

- I'm offering a NICE payout. The product sells for $29 - with a $19 affiliate payout

Most of the people I try to get in touch with are so busy they aren't taking any "new" products to promote... I know there is a way to get in with these guys... Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Oh - and if anyone wants to promote it themselves... let me know.

Thanks!
Jenni

Hi Jenni,

You could do a number of things:

1) Send a Personalized JV letter in the MAIL (yup, not email!) to the webmasters who would likely be interested. Many are bombarded with emails... and a nicely presented offer in the mail stands out.

2) Write and submit articles about your industry, which include rebrandable links- so that publishers who are hungry for website and ezine content will be likely to use your articles- especially if they can rebrand the affiliate link to their own!

3) List it in Clickbank's and PayDotCom's marketplace. PayDotCom is getting rave reviews, they sell info AND physical products, they pay instantly (clickbank only pays once a month) and it's FREE (clickbank is 49.99 to be a vendor). This is my affiliate link: http://paydotcom.net/?affiliate=12071 When you sign up for free, and others sign up for free, you'll earn $5:)

4) Gather testimonials from recognized people in the industry

5) Re-write your JV sales letter to make it an offer that can't be refused!

GOOD LUCK:)
