I have recently met Fran Briggs. I love her words of motivation. I do have her permission to copy this here and share with everyone.
Do You Make Problems the 'Centerpiece' of Your Conversation?
You wouldn't make your problems the centerpiece of your table, so don't make them the "centerpiece" of your conversation. When you speak, speak positively about yourself and others. "Display" the tulips and their seeds; not the wilted and the weeds.
Conversations with guests should "set the table," command the focus, and regulate the mood and theme of your meeting. Make sure your words are festive, fresh and fascinate for days on end.
