This is for anyone that caters to Luxury Shoppers or is looking into starting a new business.
I read a magazine yesterday with an article in it about Luxury Shoppers. Here is a little of what they said.
Shoppers are getting bolder. They have already bought simple things like books or toys and now they are ready for the online- upgrade.
Therefore it is the perfect time to sell finer things online.
Designer jewelry, diamonds, shoes, and handbags for example.
E-Marketer Reported that Luxury goods accounted for 7.5% of all internet related sales in 2005. That number has been and will continue to go up as the years pass.
Some Tips for those Targeting Luxury Shoppers:
1, Be descriptive. People want to know as much as they can about what they are buying before they purchase the item. It is after all a high ticket item.
2. Focus on top quality visuals. Luxury good require High qualilty images. Such as a 360 degree view. Zoom in ability to see the stitching etc.
3. Offer stellar customer service. Make the luxury shoppers experience a great one. Take a tour as if you were a guest to see how easily you can navigate the site. You don't need alot of product but you do need great product and easy movability.
