We just launched a new site where we built an ad network utilizing a very unique page peel ad format. It essentially creates a peel effect from the top right corner of any website (typically an area that’s under-utilized) where just a bit of the page is curled over and a little message is revealed generating an irresistable curiosity in the website visitor. Once the visitor mouses over the page curl, it peels back what appears to be a secondary layer of the website and reveals a much larger ad space that can be totally customized and directed anywhere you want. This format has demonstrated a higher clickthrough rate than any other ad format available on the Internet today.
Site owners can also use the format to promote their own special pages or an affiliate they want to promote. The potential uses are limitless.
We're offering a free "Try Before You Buy" option right now to get some customers on board.
Alternatively, I'd like to start a traffic exchange that utilizes this ad format. I think once we get some momentum, it will really take off. So to get this exchange started, I need at least 6 sites to make it worth while and to get a good circulation of traffic. You can either post your response here or PM me to get started.
