What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

Ours is Disney World. We usually go once a year for the past 25 years. I can't really put my finger on "why" except that we have fun on all our favorites and there's always something new to see.

Wow, I'm not sure I have a favorite. I've been to so many places. I really enjoy the mountains. I also really love Disney. What a fun question.

I don't really have a favorite vacation spot. I haven't been on vacation in a few years! But, last year we were able to go to Barbados (that's where my husband is from) and I absolutley loved loved loved it! Fantastic Island and the people are amazing. They love tourists.

I do love the water....just as I love the mountains. An island would be nice....I do love my big city life, but a week on an island...ahhhh :)

I still havent' found mine yet - barely even been out of the USA yet - that's why I do what I do - but I've been dreaming of Hawaii (hasn't everyone!) lately, in particular Maui and the northshore - Pa'ia or thereabouts.

I've also been reading about Penang, Malaysia alot (LOA I think...), so definitely an island somewhere.....feet in the sand........bucket of Corona within arms reach....... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :shades:

I don't have a favourite spot, but I love the Caribbean. So I guess it would be the sun, sand and water.

it would probably be California. I don't know what it is. But out of all the places I have ever been CA has been the most enjoyable for me.

Huntington Beach. Not exactly the most kid friendly place but, absolutely lovely. The people, the sites and of course the shopping.

=) I'll have to dig out my vacation pic and post them.

P.S. Has anyone ever been to Vegas? We have a business convention out there in September that we are turning into a vacation. I'm so excited.

I love cruises! I went on one and have wanted to go back since. I went to a resort in Cancun for our honeymoon and it just didn't compare to the cruise experience. The food.....the entertainment...it just can't be beat!

I think I'm the only one who doesn't like Disney.

I was at a resort in Cancun several years ago. It was an incredible trip.

I loved the mountains in Tennessee!

Talking about Gatlinburg...beautiful there. If you haven't been there at least once, you need to go! :)
