My girlfriend and I are planning to open a day care at our house for mothers who are not as privileged as us. Since we work from home now we can keep an eye on some other children for a reduced rate compared to other day cares. We also plan to reach out to the customers with money troubles and hope to help them with our knowledge.

I am a bit curious...if you are running a daycare from say 8am until 5pm, when will you work your business?

Well the business is somewhat automated all I do is wait for phone inquiries mostly. Plus I also have time later in the day and I was thiking of recruiting more self-employed women in my area

Hmm I clicked your link to see what you offer. You are selling a $150 per month membership. Sorry...but you are not sitting at home waiting for your phone to ring, you must market something like this. $150 per month for training is a very hefty charge, it's not an easy sale.

I actually debated long and hard about my answer. I chose to comment only on the "biz opp" and I use that word very loosely.

Freelance moms is here to support women in their businesses, true businesses. None of us wants to see another scammed or taken in.

When I read of "I make millions while I sleep", I know someone somewhere has been scammed.

It was my strong desire to help empower women in business that led me to post as I did, with no comments made to the service you speak of.

How many 'actual people' maintain all the business you guys bring in?

Lets assume that you have just 10 customers at $150 a month.

Lets also assume that you really do all of that by hand for each customer.

(I personally have templates made for everything I do. All my products and services.)

How do you have the time to just wait for leads to call?

I mean, I do most of what you are selling by myself for myself.
The rest I get the man-meat to do. =) -my attempt at humor but
he does occasionally have to show me something I can't do and
haven't been able to find the answer to.-

Not that the service isn't a good one because I will admit that all
of that takes great effort but, what exactly are you trying to do
for those moms that bring their children to you to be watched.

Your charging them to watch their kids and then charging them $150
on top of that to be a member of your website. After they have paid
x to get into whatever business you are going to promote for them.

Seems to me you are just defering the cost that they would spend
on child care to your online business.

Maybe I am slow, I don't know. But, I just don't get it.

I spend about $100/month between all my business expences.
That's websites, lead generation, blog space, etc.

When I first started out I didn't spend a thing. I saved until I had
enough to put back into the business from the business since starting
out I really didn't have much cash flow.

Would love if you could clear this up for me.

I had thought of doing daycare myself, Although I feel it is more then I could handle, and more damage to my home then I could allow! Hats off to you on this. Good luck and I hope it works out for the both of you.
