What forums do you frequent? This one is my current favorite. I just joined another one concerning home business today. I did belong to one about natural family living, but the board closed. I miss it. I'd like to look over some other forums so you guys be sure to let me know the ones you visit!

Michelle,

You would probably love www.mothering.com. Their forum is under 'discuss'. Enormous community there...

I'm a member of a ton of design communities who have boards that I frequent. One is Pixelitas (http://www.pixelitas.com/forum/) and another is 12Stone (http://www.twelvestone.com/).

I used to be active on Illustrator World and Graphic Goo, but both are gone now.

I was on mothering before but then I stopped going for no particular reason. I tried to log in the other day but couldn't remember the name I used! I'll have to try again. It's just not as easy to use as this one. This one ROCKS!!

I like www.internetbasedmoms.com - www.wahm.com - but mostly am at www.mommysplaceforums.net and www.telecommutingmoms.com/bb - man forums are a lot of work to maintain but loads of fun too!

Thanks Michelle :)

You know, I like a large site like Mothering if I really need to find something specific out... like maybe a homeopathic remedy for a bumped head...

but as a community, I really do prefer a smaller site too. You don't get lost in there...

I feel exactly the same way, Lori! In a smaller community you get to know everyone and you can explore all the topics. I really like doing that.

(Besides my own site, of course ;) ) I've found FreelanceMom is the best resource I've found for WAHPs or anyone working from home :D. So FLM tops my list of 'work' forums that I frequent. I've visited and posted in a bunch of others, but none has the community aspect that I like so much about FLM.

Outside of work, I've been spending time at the DadStaysHome.com forums and have been a long time member at the VHLinks forum under a different screen name (yes, I am a big Van Halen fan...!)

There's a whole slew of other work-related sites I visit on a regular basis to read articles and I am thankful for any site with a RSS feed!

Justin's forum is wonderful as well! The Internet gurus there helpd me get my new website looking a lot better. I need to hop over there and have a WAHD discussion with you Justin!
