Advice for a Newbie?

Hi I am new to Stayin Home and Lovin It! and I am wondering if there is anyone out there with the company who has any advice for me. I am trying to get responses to my forum posts but so far it hasn't gone too well. I had 2 inquiries and got one phone number, which I tried several times to call. It was to a fax machine (not sure if it was an intentional mistake or not). I have been diligent about posting but so far...nothing. :( Hopefully someone will see this and respond. So far all I've seen in this forum is ads...Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Molly,

I don't do any of the bizops -- but I've always thought that you will get a much better response rate on forums by engaging in conversation like you just did :)

As people get to know you they will become interested in what you do and trust you. I've always thought that just putting an ad in a forum is a waste of time that way.

I'd be really interested in hearing what other people think...

I have found too that engaging in conversation is working better than just posting in the ad sections. Most of what you are getting in ad sections are others placing ads, they aren't looking for ops. Thanks for the advice! I love the forum. I am getting in and talking with others.
