I am very interested in becoming a virtual assistant. I have the skills to be an executive assistant "in-house", so am hoping to put that to use at home.
Are there any virtual assistants out here?

I'm interested in becoming a Virtual Assistant as well. I've purchased 2 books from Amazon: Become a Highly Successful Sought After VA and The Virtual Assistant's Guide To Marketing. These books are wonderful. It has a plethora of information to help organize and guide you.

I'll be honest, I was pretty puzzled at how to start, now I'm just laying my groundwork. My next step is to build a website, I already have business cards and flyers made. I've also talked to friends and family members. My Aunt's hairdresser (who owns her business) wants me to do some data entry work for her.

I would love to hear from you, we all need to stick together and give each other support.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum as of today, and thought I would answer your question in regards to Virtual Assistants. I have over the past few months been researching the industry and found it to be just what I'm looking for. You could find lots of information on Virtual Assistants at VANA http://www.vanetworking.com/
its a great site for Virtual Assistants.

You're really lucky to have a client already at your start up! I take that as a really good sign :) Just keep building it - one client at a time... :thumb:
