I am just starting out making bead jewelry and I am looking for any advice. I go to stores like Michael's and I am just overwelmed looking at all the choices. What is the best way to start?

I've done a lot of beadwork in the past. I always preferred the czech cut glass beads mixed with gorgeous semi precious stones :)

I forget where I got them now but used to buy them in hanks. I'd check ebay!

There are many catalogs out there.....Google may give you a nice list. I used to order from a company called Rings & Things. They have a great catalog and an awful lpt to choose from.

Good Luck!

there is alot of info out there.

I am fond of scarabs -- I have 4 bracelets (two of which I will have to have restrung this spring) and I had 20 made as gifts for our loved ones who help during our difficult days in 06.
