Kelly,
I'm going to offer some advice.....get rid of the "whining". No one wants to read it. I know that's harsh, but it's also true. Folks want to read something of interest. Something that will help them, whether it be an article on marketing, a new recipe, a tip on losing weight etc. Folks want to be helped.
Keep your current blog and share with friends. They want to know what's up with you. Strangers don't.
Now think about a blog that will help others.
You sell Melaleuca products, consider blogging about health and wellness. I get a newsletter from WebMD...they offer constant tidbits on getting healthy and staying healthy.

I didn't think I was "whinning". I've tried getting some ideas from other blogs that I read on a regular basis. I want people to get to know me and my business. I'm trying to relate to some people. I'm not just sharing my blog with friends and family. I'm also sharing it with other people that might be interested in the business as well. I don't think having a blog strickly about business is what I want. Personally I get turned off when I'm really a blog about business stuff. I also want to get to know the person who's writing the blog to see if that person is the right business person that I want to work with.

I offered some feedback on the other forum.
You need to find a focus. Right now your blog doesn't have a focus. You talk about someone's birthday and you talk about not enough hours in the day and you talk about facebook etc....
You mentioned you want a business focus....so then every day write something business related...or 3 times a week write something business related...of course you can add something personal in there so folks get to know you...but make sure that every post talks about business :)

Instead of telling people to go to your website for more information, you can write about what your business offers -- better health, save money and at the same time write about how it has helped you on a personal level...be it a product or whatever.
