I don't know if this is the appropriate thread for this question or not, but it is regarding an important promotional item. Business cards.

I used to print them easily with a Word program, and I recently got a new version of Picture It! and thought, hey, "new" always means better. Not. I've now spent a gazillion hours trying to get my cards to print. I have some Hammermill biz card sheets and I also tried some Avery sheets, but couldn't get either to work. I called Office Depot trying to get the numbers that were listed on the program, but their Avery sheet's numbers did not match the numbers on my screen of templates. Sheesh, frustrating. What am I doing wrong here?! I've designed some of the cutest cards and I can't print them! *major whining episode* Please, please tell me where I can get the right sheets to match these template numbers in Picture It!.

Hiya' Lori

Dove here :) I was just about to run out the door to go and hopefully find the answer...and thought I'd hop on here to see if anyone had any input on this, yes, indeed-y frustrating issue!

I just copied all the numbers down from the program to take with me. Just your standard sized business card. Too many numbers to list here, but some of them are 1612, 1620, 2655, 2793, 10241... Heck I don't care which one, just so it works and prints these puppies :)

Later!

Wouldya' believe I still haven't resolved this issue? *pitiful sigh* I went to or called the office supply places around here and no one had any of these types of sheets.

I then emailed the Avery (paper co.) and they said ya' can't get the sheets for any of these numbers in the U.S. I'm wondering why the heck that would be??

Then, I posted on the Microsoft site with this question and got nothin' So I emailed Microsoft and they responded with a toll-free number for (supposedly) the appropriate dept in their company.

So I called the number. After a time-consuming process of giving them my info to get my foot in the door, the guy says he doesn't have the answer. Puts me on hold for quite a while, then returns with no answer. Says he'll call me back in two hours. Never heard back. Mega frustrating. I guess no one is really supposed to use this aspect of this program?

Not a happy camper.

Did you ever get this problem solved? If not, go to www.visitaprint.com and you can get 250 for shipping, about $5 or so. It's a lot cheaper and a lot less frustrating.
