The musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is the classic Broadway play of an organization man who mastered the how-to manual to claw his way from mailroom to coveted corner office suite in the World Wide Wicket Company. But today the office hero, J. Pierpont Finch, might well be a teleworker, toiling in isolation from home on a computer terminal, without the strategic benefit of watercooler gossip and stripped of the lavish corporate perks that denote importance. How could he display his power with nothing more than a late model laptop for show?
